Knitting and Crochet

Come to socialize, learn new skills, and to make items for charity. New members of all skill levels are welcome to join our group. Don’t know how to knit or crochet? We will teach you.

Donations of yarn and craft supplies are always welcome.

Please stop in for information or to purchase our items for a suggested donation. All proceeds are used to purchase supplies in order to make items for charity. Items we make include afghans (various sizes), baby items, kitchen items, scrubbies, aprons, hats/scarves, and more.

In the past, the group has received grant money to make afghans for homeless veterans and military hospice patients.

In December of each year, the group’s creations are donated to various charities. Craft shows occur throughout the year, particularly September through December.
